    Product Description

“The unusual blend of bamboo and merino wool (plus a generous amount of synthetic stretch) offers warmth and breathability, plus they feel softer than most on your feet.”

    - Forbes - Best Ski Socks 2023

Cody Townsend’s award winning Pro Series Sock re-invented what a snow sock could look and feel like. A sock built with the technical insight and direct skin track feedback from one of the world’s most respected big mountain turned backcountry skiers.

Crafted from our Signature Merino Blend, the sock ensures exceptional breathability, temperature regulation and comfort by melding the luxuriously soft on-skin properties of bamboo rayon and the unrivalled odour resistance of merino wool — meaning Cody can wear them for a week straight if he wants.

The Definitive Fit System™ and our proprietary foot moulding Memory Stretch™ delivers a precise form fit, combined with targeted cushioning in the toe box, ventilation panels for airflow on the bootpack and an anti-wrinkling, elasticated instep that doesn’t bunch underfoot. Slightly thinner than previous iterations, the innovative silicone strips on the heel and upper calf keep the sock locked in place, aided by a technically knit achilles support band that drastically minimizes heel lift while you hike, eliminating blisters and hot spots. An intensely technical sock with a natural aesthetic inspired by the sculpted peaks and shadowed chutes that Cody Townsend seeks.

    Features
    • Silicon Ankle Locks: strategically placed bonded silicone strips across the rear of the ankle, eliminating foot slip and avoiding the infamous anxious sock-bunch.
    • Silicone Cuff: once we started playing with silicone we immediately fell in love with it and went a step further, adding a silicone ring to the top cuff below the knee. Keeping socks standing tall, without claiming hairs, so you can break trail without your socks going flaccid.
    • Zero cushion profile.
    • Shin Compression Area: we combined the thinking of a sports compression sleeve and a sock together in one. By adding slight compression to the shin & calf areas, helping to manage lactic-induced fatigue.
    • Mesh Ventilation: we developed a new mesh ventilation zone to increase breathability across the top of the foot, allowing cushioning to stay where it's needed on the base and toe, while letting moisture and steam release from the top of the foot.
    About Le Bent

Le Bent was created by old friends who had something new in mind. They set out to create the perfect cold weather sock that was going to keep them warm and comfortable all day long. What unfolded was a merino and rayon/bamboo blend, manufactured with advanced weaving and stitching that created the first Le Sock. Their mission was well and truly achieved, with a sock that addressed all the issues and pains that skiers, boarders and outdoor adventurers were all far too familiar with.

With such an innovative and effective material on their hands, Le Bent wondered – why stop at socks? The brand expanded to create first on skin thermals and cold weather wear, with the technical fibres and cosy feel that the Le Sock was loved for. Their layers are comfortable, warm and flexible – simply serving to make your next adventure as enjoyable as possible. For ultimate comfort whilst you face the elements, choose Le Bent.
