Kids - Thermal Layers
At Auski we have a great range of men’s and women’s thermal layers online. Ice breaker and Le Bent Merino and Bamboo base layers will keep you warm and dry all day out on the slopes.
Burton snowboards also make great thermals in their AK range. They have lightweight, midweight and AK weight if you get really cold and use a combination of soft stretch DRYRIDE Ultrawick in their light layers and Merino Wool in the heavier weights.
Ice breaker Merino thermals come in 200 or 260 weight. The 200 weight will be great for most days in Australia but if you get really cold you can buy the 260 weight. These will keep you warm in Japan and Europe down to the coldest temperatures.
The great thing about Merino wool and Bamboo thermals are that they are a natural fibre and won’t smell even after days of use. They are also very soft on the skin. Bamboo base layers are a great choice if you find wool a little bit scratchy on the skin.
