    Product Description

The 2027 Capita D.O.A. is a true twin all-mountain snowboard built for intermediate to advanced riders who want a single board capable of handling groomed runs, park laps, off-piste excursions, and everything in between with equal confidence. The P2 Superlight™ Core — a paulownia and poplar blend reinforced with carbon — delivers a lightweight yet poppy ride, while the Hybrid Carbon HolySheet™ fiberglass construction adds precision and torsional stiffness without unnecessary weight. The Resort V1 Profile with Flat Kick Tech combines reverse camber at the nose and tail for easy turn initiation and float in variable snow, zero camber near the inserts for a stable platform, and positive camber past the inserts for powerful edge hold on hardpack — a profile that sets the D.O.A. apart from standard hybrid offerings. Few boards carry the legacy and versatility of the D.O.A., and this iteration continues to justify its iconic status for riders who refuse to be limited to one discipline.

    Features
    • Resort V1 Profile with Flat Kick Tech uses reverse camber at the nose and tail for float and easy initiation, zero camber near the inserts for a stable, planted feel, and positive camber past the inserts for locked-in edge hold on groomed runs and hardpack
    • P2 Superlight™ Core combines paulownia and poplar with carbon stringers to produce a board that is noticeably light underfoot while retaining the snap and liveliness needed for park tricks and off-piste riding
    • Hybrid Carbon HolySheet™ BI/BI Glass with Magic Bean™ Resin delivers a precise, featherweight layup with improved energy transmission, so pop off side hits and ollies feels immediate and responsive
    • Quantum Drive™ Base with Sublimation provides a sintered base that absorbs and retains wax effectively, maintaining speed across groomed runs, crud, and variable snow conditions
    • True Twin shape ensures identical flex and geometry from nose to tail, making the D.O.A. fully switch-friendly for park riders and freestyle-oriented all-mountain skiers who ride switch as naturally as regular
    • Blended Radial Sidecut smooths out the turn arc across different speeds and snow types, reducing the harsh chattering that single-radius sidecuts can produce in chopped-up or firmer snow
    • Medium flex rating of 5 out of 10 strikes a balance between playful forgiveness for freestyle use and enough stiffness to hold an edge confidently at speed on steeps and hardpack
    • All Mountain rating 7, Park rating 5, Powder rating 5 — a versatile quiver-of-one for riders who split time across groomed runs, the park, and light off-piste terrain
