Despite sharing the Titanal Y-Beam construction and All-Terrain Rocker profile with its metal-reinforced Mindbender counterparts, the 89Ti distinguishes itself with a narrower waist width. This design ensures precise edge hold for dominating hardpack while still providing sufficient width for ventures into ungroomed terrain.
Titanal strategically placed directly over the edges in the ski's forebody facilitates predictable turn initiation. Underfoot, the titanal spans the entire width for optimal control and power transfer. In the tail, redistributing mass away from the mounting points enhances directional stability, resulting in consistent turn release.
