The 2022 Volkl Bash 86 is a great ski for intermediate or junior level skiers who are thinking about spending more time in the terrain park but still want all mountain performance for those hot laps with parents or friends. The Bash 86 is a great introductory park ski that will give you confidence in learning the essentials for freestyle skiing. A highly versatile ski, it can be taken all over the mountain and will perform well in almost any conditions the hill can throw at you. The Bash 86 features a multi-layer woodcore and the tough box construction allows for agile turns as well as a solid amount of pop. The low swing-weight of these skis makes them playful and agile when learning new tricks. The ski features tip and tail rocker allowing for smooth and easy transitions out of turns. We recommended mounting this ski with a binding from the Marker Royal Family such as the Squire 11 ID. The Volkl Bash 86 is the perfect freestyle accomplice for skiers looking to ski the piste in the morning before hitting the park after lunch.
