Oakley Prizm Lenses - Leading The Way On Lens Versatility

Oakley is leading the Hi-Contrast charge with prizm.

By now, you’ve probably heard about Oakley’s Prizm Lens Technology. Not just limited to Snow Goggles, Oakley has been using Prizm Technology in its entire technical glasses range for a couple of years now with incredible results.

After 15 years of research and development, the Prizm lens has completely changed the game – by adding contrast, reducing glare and changing the way certain light rays travel through the lens, the Prizm Lenses allow for use in greater variable conditions than any other lens on the market.

What Makes Prizm so different!

While most lenses on the market allow for use of about 10-20% of light conditions, Prizm Lenses are so versatile that they can be used in just about anything; 40-60% of conditions. This in turn means the necessity to carry a secondary lens is diminished, and the ease of riding all day without having to even think about your goggles becomes second nature.

Apart from their versatility, the added contrast you find in a Prizm lens can be second to none. Gone are the days you can’t see the bumps and drops in front of you when the snow blends into the sky. That uncomfortable feeling of almost vertigo just doesn’t happen.

Using sport-specific technology, Oakley has refined the lenses so well that when in use, it actively tunes the light to maximise available contrast. The end result is Sports Tuned Color, which enhances details and contours on the snow.
