2020 Volkl M5 Mantra Mens freeride ski is the fifth generation of Volkl’s most iconic ski. Unbeatable for freeride performance in virtually any snow condition, this is the one ski quiver we’ve been searching for. Advanced skiers will love this ski thanks to its damp and stable performance at speed combined with tough edge grip on piste, and a wide shover that gives the versatility to take it anywhere, ski harder with more confidence and less fatigue.
Significantly lighter, and at 96mm underfoot it’s narrower than the previous generations of Mantra, thanks to Titinal frame technology, positioning metal where you need it to add strength and reduce weight whilst retaining the same edge grip, turn initiation and charge through any condition feel as their predecessors. Carbon insert in the tip and camber underfoot makes it a tough freeride charger for advanced shredders who need something that’s as capable on piste as it is off.
We recommend mounting the Volkl Kendo with any of the Marker Royal Family, such as the Marker Griffon 13 ID to its wide footprint for awesome power transfer and the griffons GripWalk compatibility to match multiple boot sole norms.
