The 2021 K2 Mindbender 90 Ti really ticks all the boxes in the all-mountain category. After skiing this at demos this year, the Auski crew were in awe! We loved the refreshing blend of performance, versatility and fun that this new Mindbender series provides.
Every bit as capable railing a hard edge on groomers as it is blasting through end of day crud and floating through fresh powder. This truly versatile ski is great for higher-intermediate to advanced skiers, in varying snow and mountain conditions. K2’s Titanal Y-Beam construction increases torsional control so you can really play with torsional stiffness at different parts of your turn. By using metal along the edges in the tip of the ski, you get powerful initiation and a sturdy feeling when driving a carve. In the tail of the ski, the metal is focused in the centre, giving the ski more torsional flexibility to allow you to slide out the tail of turns if necessary. This makes the skis super versatile not only for a range of conditions but also for a range of skiers and ability levels.
K2 also uses their Power Wall construction technique, putting metal underfoot to increase stability and give a strong, smooth underfoot feeling. Camber underfoot combined with long, lasting rocker in the tip and tail creates firm edge contact in any condition, even on really firm mornings. This also allows for easier turn initiation and better performance off piste and in softer snow.
The K2 Mindbender 90Ti is truly a ski that ticks all boxes in the all-mountain category, a great choice for higher-intermediate to advanced skiers hoping to take one ski to conquer all conditions around the world or an all conditions all season ski for Aussies skiing locally.
This ski comes without bindings so you can ensure you make the right choice for your specific needs. We recommend pairing the K2 Mindbender 90 Ti with a Marker Griffon, with a brake width equal to or at most 15mm wider than the ski waist width.
