Back for 2017 with only minor changes is the HO Adjustable Rear Toe Piece, only now its sitting on the new direct connect system. Mirroring HO’s front boot construction, the adjustable RTP comes ready to ski with a TruFit shape and marshmallow foam inner making it one the single comfiest and best formfitting RTP’s you can sink you boot into. An upgraded Footbed Anchoring system sees HO giving 50% greater Velcro coverage for quick access to the dual mounting screws but also to ensure the soul doesn’t slip or shift on the foot when driving deep through turns. The 2017 Adjustable Rear Toe Piece features a single lace that’s simple to loosen up to the widest of feet and tighten down sealing in the smallest of feet. Unlike other rear kickers HO’s Direct Connect System allows the skier to gain more angle when edging thanks to ARTP’s ability to be rotated giving better body position than standard straight fixed rear toe plates. Removing the chunky mounting base plate not only gives the 2017 Adjustable Rear Toe Piece a sleek design but also reduces the likelihood of drag from water being caught, it also eliminates dead spots underfoot and allows the ski to flex. The 2017 Rear Toe Piece from HO is the final touch needed for precise edge control & improved balance when slalom skiing.
The Rear Toe is also available in the aluminum plated version to fit traditional insert patterns, the Wayne Ritchie’s teams at Albury and Shepparton are always on hand or a phone call away to assist if unsure which version is compatible with your ski.
