There's some rubber in the tips and tails, resulting in the suspension tips and tails that you feel, and this keeps vibrations and chatter to a minimum, so even in those lighter weights, the skis feel very quiet and stable. Increasing the versatility of the ski, Volkl's titanal power plate is found underfoot, functioning not only as a stiffening laminate for increased torsional stiffness, but also for binding retention and confidence.
